I tasted Panciok thanks to a German friend of mine with passion for cooking. Its smoothness reminded me of Brownies and matching walnuts and chocolate together is great! The recipe was taken from a book with typical German dishes; therefore, now I have one reason more to learn German in order to find out the other delicacies inside this cookbook. Ingredients: 150gr of butter, 100gr of sugar, 100gr of pastry flour, 100gr of chopped walnuts, 200gr of grated dark chocolate, 3 eggs. Method: Put in a bowl sugar, melted butter, eggs, and while mixing everything add chopped walnuts, grated chocolate and sifted pastry flour. Mix all the ingredients till you get a smooth dough. Then put the mixture in a baking tin. Put in oven at 175°C for about 40 minutes. Once you get the tin out of the oven wait till it cool down. Finally cut it in squares or in slices. One can savour it with a cup of milk or a glass of sparkling wine;) Both young and old alike will enjoy it! Panciok...
